Alaska Flight 35 - It is the first F-35 sport markings for the 356th Fighter Wing based at Eilson Air Force Base, Alaska. And here are some interesting details.
On March 10, 2020, the first Lightning II jet F-35A 18-5345/AK of the 356th Fighter Wing of the 354th Fighter Wing based at Eilson AFB (AK) was photographed during a test flight at the Lockheed Martin - factory. Fort Worth, Texas, by Matt Ellis.

The aircraft, in addition to the "354 OG" and PACAF markings, shows some other interesting features: first, unusual black tail markings (F-35s are usually light gray); Second on the air intake is the 356th FS insignia. The second appears to be a low-res version of the 356th TFS insignia worn by the unit's A-7s and A-10s until the squadron was inactivated at Myrtle Beach AFB in 1992.

The squadron was reactivated on October 10, 2019 and assigned to the 354th Fighter Wing, ready to receive the first three F-35A Lightning II stealth fighters in 2020, as noted above. The number of flashes is expected to increase to 54. Within two years.
Aielson's total fleet is expected to grow from 30 aircraft to 84, including nine KC-135 Stratotankers and 21 F-16 Fighting Falcons from the Alaska Air National Guard.
